There have always been stories about marketers doing well online. On the other hand, there have been many more that have tried to launch a business and failed miserably.
How does this happen? Well, it comes down to a few factors but the main one that always sticks out in my mind is traffic, and lots of it.
If there’s no traffic coming into your website then you’re simply wasting your efforts for nothing. Without website visitors, you don’t have a business; and the more traffic your site has the the better your chances are to sell your products.
Now, there will probably be a lot of site visitors so not everyone is going to make a purchase. But your chances at sales increase with the increase in website visitors.
There are ways to find free traffic, but these places don’t always generate the same type of traffic that paid methods can such as Google AdWords.
First, let’s take a look at Search engines… Search engines are basically the best tool to find what your are looking on and even off the internet. Being so easy to use and free for people to search; it makes prefect sense that people will pay top dollar to be in the top of the search engines.
Now here’s an example of paid traffic… Pay per click is when you pay each time someone clicks on your ad. To be truly successful with this strategy, you need a good amount of keywords. The good thing is that there are a lot of free tools out there that can assist you in finding the best keywords.
